ACCT Service Trips
Each year we take a team of doctors, teachers, nurses, and administrative professionals to Uganda for 2 weeks to build relationships and provide service. In addition to providing nurturing homes and education for vulnerable children, our team focuses on improving health, and we hold free medical clinics for the children and the surrounding communities and we have treated hundreds of patients. We care for each and every child no matter what their ability or circumstance.
If you are interested in serving as part of our team and travelling to East Africa, please contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org). Everyone has something to offer!
July 2020 ACCT Trip: This is a service-oriented trip to Uganda that will focus on supporting two children’s homes, a primary school and 5 medical clinics. You do not have to be a medical professional to take part in these clinics. We have a number of positions that can be filled by non-medical people from working in registration to assisting patient flow to helping with the dental or ophthalmology clinics. However, on the days we host clinics, there are alternative activities like working with children the Amahoro Children’s Home or at the Amahoro Community School. Our clinics involve both American and Ugandan nurses, doctors, pharmacists and include a dental team and ophthalmology team and a reproductive health team.
